Welcome to the
Ed Evans Foundation Website
"The Foundation was started by Ed in 2006 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. Unfortunately Ed lost his battle on October 6th 2007 age 27.
It was Ed's wish that his family and friends continued the work of the foundation. The foundation's main aim is to raise money for Cancer Research Wales and Brain Tumor research. The foundation also raises money for local worthy causes. "
Total Money Raised so far:
Dear Friends and Supporters;
The Ed Evans Foundation has been established for over 12 years; the committee with the approval of The Trustees have decided to draw it to a close.
Founded by Edward himself with support from family and friends the charity has raised in excess of £500,000.
Over the last 12 years this money has been raised by numerous events; Clay Pigeon Shoot, Choir Concerts, Annual charity walks, numerous friends climbing, walking, swimming, jumping out of planes ,to name but a few, and who can forget the several balls hosting over 700 guests each time. We all have made so many amazing memories over the last 12 years with which we can look back on with pride.
With such a wonderful level of support we have be able to donate significant amounts of money to Cancer Research Wales and The Brain Tumour Charity as well as supporting those within the local community.
The foundation would like to say thank for the continued support and generosity given by so many over the last 12 years. If you would like to share any memories we would love to hear about them on our guest book www.edevansfoundation.co.uk .
After a phenomenal 12 years we now feel that it is the right time to finish as there are so many local worthy charities to support in the future.
Thank You for enabling us to help make a difference.
